|Bibigol (Rula) Ghani was born in Lebanon and studied at the Ecole des Science Politiques in Paris, the American University of Beirut, and the Columbia University School of Journalism. Back in Kabul after 25 years spent in the States, Bibigol was taken aback by how different the city looked. Gone were the quiet streets, the beautiful enclosed gardens and the serene daily life. Instead, the streets are humming with energy, the hustle and bustle of downtown Kabul seem to increase by the day, and everywhere people are rushing by intent on their business. The fever of reconstruction has taken over Babur's favorite city.
