GIRLS-EYE-VIEW 2005:
DAUGHTERS OF THE REVOLUTIONS
class photo
From February to March of 2005, sixth grade students from School of the Future worked with teaching artist Mariam Ghani in the classroom at Eyebeam Atelier to produce sound, image and web projects that take explorations of the girls' family histories as starting points for personal investigations of historical events. On this website, you can navigate the projects made in class by Angelica, Dasha, Kirosa, Leya, Lina, and Yasmin through a map interface designed by the girls. To find out more about the class itself, check out our resouce page.

Many thanks to Cara, Cassie, Lauren and Emily from SOF, Liz at Eyebeam,
and all of the girls' families for making our after-school program possible.
